What we look at
A general home inspection covers the whole house. This one is a plumber looking only at the plumbing, for an hour and a half, so you know what you're taking on.
Your technician walks you through what they found at the end, so you can ask questions and take it to your agent.
- The water heater: its age, condition and venting
- What the supply pipes are made of, and their condition
- Drains: how they flow and any signs of trouble
- Water pressure, shut-off valves and visible leaks
- Fixtures: faucets, toilets, tubs and showers

1 hr 30 min
The water heater, supply and drain lines, fixtures and shut-offs of the house you're buying, checked before you sign.
Before you book
Is this instead of a home inspection?
No, it goes alongside one. A general inspector looks at everything; we look closer at the plumbing, which is often where the expensive surprises are in older Portland houses.
Do I need to be there?
It helps. You'll hear what we found first-hand. Whoever lets us in (you, your agent or the seller's agent) needs to be able to give us access to the water heater, the crawlspace or basement, and every bathroom and the kitchen.
How soon can you come?
Every open slot is shown on the booking page, so you can see straight away whether one fits your inspection deadline.
